Located within a commercial office campus in Hilo, this project serves an outdoor area used for relaxation, informal meetings, and visitor reception. Strong sunlight, sudden showers, coastal winds, and humid conditions previously limited the usability of the space during certain periods. A weather-resistant aluminum pergola system was customized according to the site dimensions, building façade, and landscape layout. The optimized louver design reduces direct sunlight and heat buildup while maintaining natural airflow. Its clean, modern structure complements the surrounding architecture, improving both outdoor comfort and the overall image of the corporate campus.

Strong sunlight and sudden showers reduced the usability of the outdoor area and made it difficult for employees and visitors to remain outside comfortably.
