The guest rooms and suites face the ocean, and the client wanted larger glazed areas to provide more complete views from both the interior and balconies. The sliding doors also needed to remain smooth and stable despite frequent operation, salt air, and ocean winds. Large aluminum sliding doors and transparent balcony glazing minimize obstruction to the views. Corrosion-resistant finishes, quality rollers, multiple sealing lines, and drainage systems improve service life and coastal performance. The completed suites feel brighter and more open, with a more natural connection between the interior and balconies.
